Thanks Maddy. I’ll take your comments into the focus group. A&e isn’t considered ‘urgent care’ but the same environmental issues are also issues within urgent care centres so I was going to flag that – I can use your example to make my point. Thank you.

I am often bed bound. If I try to book an appointment with my GP and they want to see me, I can’t get there. They refuse to do a phone consultation or home visit. Another problem is in A&E. if I have to attend they only have upright chairs, there is nowhere to lay down. Sometimes I have to lay flat as I have dysautonomia and cannot be upright.

Honestly I cannot believe hospitals have REMOVED HEPA filtration in some instances (I was told this during a recent hospital visit), was masked and had portable filter with me, yet now hit again with another virus, possibly as a result from that out-patients appt recently. What more can we do, we’re so excluded from society already. It’s heartbreaking to think these healthcare workers are being exposed everyday too. Patients don’t stand a chance. How unsatisfying for care to be constantly up against this assault, and in a place that is supposed to be a healthy setting for medicine and recovery.

Shameful. I find myself turning more and more away from mainstream news and look to those with lives experience. As thousands of us have many awful experiences and are telling our stories, our lives experiences of this system and it’s calculated in efficiency, cruelly implemented to create obsfucation for the most vulnerable in society. An absolute disgrace.
